The book is a dialog between a young student that will vote for the first time to the European election of 2019 and Antonio Padoa Schioppa. Television debates, the press, the messages transmitted via the Internet offer an almost always deformed image of what it is and what the European Union can represent today. The many volumes, often very valuable and informed, that come out every year on Europe are addressed to a qualified but fairly limited readership. On the whole, not only in Italy, texts destined to non-specialist readers and especially to young people, from which the profiles of what can now be considered a grandiose cathedral, even if still under construction and therefore at risk, emerge with sufficient clarity .
